SUMMER
This is our longest-lasting season where you get the most bang for your buck. Annual flowers and foliage can be planted after the last frost and flourish through September. That’s five months!
May through September
SUMMER TIPS
They won’t thrive all this time without help from you. Consistent watering, fertilizing, pruning, and deadheading will help your plants flourish together in an arrangement. Watch for signs of an unhealthy container – insect damage, disease, and too much or too little water. If you can’t figure out the problem, bring a photo or a cutting to your local garden center, where there’s usually an expert on staff to help you diagnose and treat the issue.
