Spring can be a violent season with temperatures fluctuating wildly. Despite the challenges of this shoulder season, we find ourselves determined to chase away the winter blues with happy color and vibrant blooms.
SPRING TIPS
This season is not for the faint of heart, but there are two ways to approach it.
You can select very cold tolerant plants that you won’t need to worry about freezing (think evergreens, pansies, and violas). Or, you can push your containers to the limits with more tender annuals…but pay careful attention to the weather forecast and be ready to wrap your arrangements with frost cloth or old sheets when the temperatures fall!
